Networking Hardware Devices Called Hub

Hub as the name suggest must be a networking hardware device that is or means something a collective/ gathering device. This is exactly what a hub is – a networking hardware comprising of boxes of varying sizes with multiple connectors. These are used to connect to a single server or a workstation to a hub. A hub like any other networking hardware device can be designed by topological specifications, typology of computers and of course functionality.
Different Kinds of Hubs Networking Hardware
Hubs are the most commonly used networking hardware devices after network interface cards. Following are the various kinds of hubs available:

Stackable Hubs – Managed and Unmanaged
Bridges
As networking hardware devices – hubs are chiefly responsible for a single server connection. These are functional and are quite usable networking solutions.
